Mountech Co., Ltd. interview
The people and thinking behind the numbers, in our on-site interviews.

78 years of experience in angle frame manufacturing. A steel fabricator known for precise corners.
The reasons for seeking a supplier for angle frames can generally be summarized into six points.
For all these, please leave it to Mountech.
There are not many companies nationwide that specialize in angle frames. Therefore, inquiries come from across regions. Since our establishment, we have been manufacturing enclosures for distribution boards (cubicles) and have received orders from electrical manufacturers nationwide.
Angle steel and channel steel can vary in angle and side length by approximately ±1.5mm depending on the lot. We manufacture by anticipating this and perform distortion removal at the final stage. We ensure precision not only in outer diameter and hole pitch but also in angle and diagonal.
We handle everything in-house, from purchasing and cutting 11m standard length materials. We provide integrated support for baking paint, hot-dip galvanizing, and even re-drilling holes and re-tapping that were blocked by plating.
Although sometimes referred to as a "sheet metal shop," our actual organizational structure is more geared towards steel fabrication. Approximately half of our employees are involved in welding, and most of them are accustomed to handling structural steel such as angle steel and channel steel.
How can we achieve ±2mm for 8,000mm? Mountech reveals how we achieve precision.
| Individual Tolerance | Approx. +0 to -1.5mm |
|---|---|
| Total Length Accuracy for Aligned Frames | ±2mm (W800 × 10 panels = 8,000mm) |
| Lot-to-Lot Variation in Structural Steel | ±1.5mm in angle and side length |
| Items to be Fabricated with Precision | Outer diameter / Hole pitch / Angle / Diagonal / Total length |
Angle steel and channel steel can vary in angle and side length by approximately ±1.5mm depending on the lot. If this premise is ignored during assembly, even if individual units are correct, the total length will be off the moment they are aligned. Mountech manufactures by anticipating these variations.
Cutting 11m standard length materials in-house. Cutting dimensions are determined based on actual measurements for each lot.
Using ironworker and CO2 laser. Hole positions are determined assuming connection for aligned frames.
Considering the optimal assembly order to prevent cumulative errors. Also mindful of the relationship between the main body and the base.
Completely removing welding distortion in the final process. This is where angle, diagonal, and total length are finalized.
For individual units, we ensure precision not only in outer diameter and hole pitch but also in angle and diagonal. For aligned frames, we consider what needs attention to achieve accurate total length dimensions during manufacturing. We design including the relationship between the main body and the base.
The need to precisely achieve the diagonal, angle, and finish of all six faces gave rise to this name.

We explicitly state "distortion removal" and "post-plating treatment" as independent processes. This is because there are certainly procurement managers who face difficulties with these.
