On Friday, March 6, 2026, we held the FACTORY SEARCH Conference (Tokyo) at the Tokyo Chamber of Commerce and Industry Seminar Room.

Similar to last March, the event was held in a conference room at the Tokyo Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Participants came not only from the Tokai region but also from Fukui, Toyama, Niigata, Tokyo, Kanagawa, and other areas.

In Part 1, we provided a report from the management.

In Part 2, Mr. Keiichi Hamano, Representative Director and CEO of Hamano Products Co., Ltd., gave a lecture titled "Finding a Path to Success for Small and Medium-sized Manufacturing Businesses in the Coming Era - The Challenge of Hamano Products in Tokyo's Downtown."


Mr. Hamano spoke about the history of Hamano Products Co., Ltd. and their current initiatives. He mentioned that they have leveraged their location in Sumida Ward, Tokyo, which has high land prices and is not typically suitable for factories. They utilize existing resources and supplement what they lack through external networks. It was a very insightful and inspiring lecture.

In the group discussion, participants discussed the theme "How do you want to change your company's business model in XX years?"

After listening to everyone's presentations, it seemed that participants were able to use the time to consider what their company lacks, what it excels at, and what its strengths are, with a view towards the future.

The social gathering was also lively. The increasingly customary survey results explanation by President Nagai of NAMIX Co., Ltd. was also excellent.
