“Machikoba Products” Chairman Kurihara’s Lecture at FACTORY SEARCH Conference (Tokyo)

The FACTORY SEARCH Conference (Tokyo) was held on Friday, March 14, 2025, at the Tokyo Chamber of Commerce and Industry Seminar Room.

This was our first time holding the conference in Tokyo. In addition to members from the Tokai region, participants also joined from Fukuoka, Fukui, Toyama, Niigata, Nagano, Tokyo, Kanagawa, and other areas.

In Part 1, we provided a report from the management:

In Part 2, we had a lecture by Chairman Kurihara of Kurihara Seiki Co., Ltd., which operates “Machikoba Products.”

“Machikoba Products” supports product development for small factories across Japan and engages in activities such as joint exhibitions at gift shows.

Chairman Kurihara spoke about how “Machikoba Products” began, what they have valued, and their future prospects.

He shared that by valuing connections with colleagues, the scale of their activities has gradually expanded. There were many aspects that resonated with FACTORY SEARCH’s activities, and I personally learned a great deal and felt re-energized.

The group discussion was also very lively.

Some FACTORY SEARCH members have also developed their own products, and they seemed to be inspired.
