[Factory Tour] Kuno Kinzoku Kogyo Co., Ltd. Tokoname Factory

On December 13, we visited the Tokoname Factory of Kuno Kinzoku Kogyo Co., Ltd. in Tokoname City, Aichi Prefecture. The photo was taken at the futsal court on the factory rooftop.

For this factory tour, we prepared FACTORY SEARCH name tags with a time schedule on the back. (We borrowed this idea from the factory tour hosted by Namix Co., Ltd. Thank you always, President Nagai.)Kuno Kinzoku Kogyo Co., Ltd. is a company that develops dies/molds for complex, high-precision press parts and performs mass production of press parts. They possess extremely high technical capabilities, developing everything in-house, from press machines used for press working to software for management. They often receive requests because other companies cannot manufacture the parts. After a clear company explanation by Managing Director Kuno, we toured the factory.
The factory, with over 150 press machines in operation, including a maximum 1200-ton progressive servo press, was truly impressive. (No photos were taken inside the factory as photography was prohibited.)

This factory tour was conducted in an unusual format, not just for observation and learning, but also for receiving feedback on areas for improvement in the factory and offices from participants who are manufacturing professionals. At the social gathering, all participants provided feedback, and Kuno Kinzoku Kogyo responded to it. This exchange led to profound learning and insights for both Kuno Kinzoku Kogyo and the participants.

Perhaps excited by the factory tour, the chartered bus returning to Nagoya Station was very lively.

To everyone at Kuno Kinzoku Kogyo Co., Ltd., thank you very much for your hospitality.
